Teresa works with stations and NPR staff on NPR's coaching and development team to help strengthen journalists' reporting, editing and storytelling to bring a more engaging experience to a growing audience across platforms. 

Prior to joining NPR, Teresa was social media editor at PBS NewsHour, where she played a leading role in shaping NewsHour's social media, outreach and engagement strategy. 

When not at work, you'll probably find Teresa at the local library, watching regrettable television or exploring the many neighborhoods of Boston, Somerville and Cambridge.

12 Tips From Public Media Collaboration in St. Louis

Collaborations are an important tactic in any digital news strategy, especially around election season.

 Public media outlets in St. Louis are using that tactic for their election coverage in a project called "Beyond November." St Louis Public Radio, the St. Louis Beacon and Nine Network officially launched a “one-stop-shop” website this summer, and are in the midst of the collaboration that will continue, yes, beyond November. 

Bill Raack, SLPR News Director, and Kelsey Proud, SLPR Online/Social Media Producer, checked in and shared some of their lessons learned so far in a webinar on Oct. 4.

Office Olympics: KUOW Staff Battle for Waste-basketball Gold

If you're already feeling nostalgic for the London Olympics, don't miss Seattle station KUOW's fun spin on the global event from last week. RadioActive, a KUOW program that trains teens to create radio, recently held the station's first-ever "office Olympics." The event is an example of producing digital content with personality, a diversity of voices and for the eye as well as the ear.
