Adding Sponsor Text Around an Ad

Oct 26, 2011

Kudos and much thanks to Tony from Michigan Radio for coming up with a helpful way to add text around an ad in DoubleClick for Publisher (DFP)!

Example of an ad with Sponsor text from Michigan Radio

To add text and links above and below your ad, enter the following code as a Third Party ad type in DFP, changing only the bold text using the annotations below:

1 Custom text, normally “Support for [station] is provided by” or “Become a corporate sponsor”

2 URL that you want the ad to link to

3 URL of ad image

4 URL of your underwriting page, which you can create in Core Publisher
