If you haven't seen our recent webinar with Scott Finn, News Director from WUSF in Tampa, you should. Scott goes into some fantastic detail about how he achieved a six-fold traffic increase on their site through creative online coverage of the RNC.

At Digital Services we don't often point out the nice things people sometimes say about us, but this time we got it on tape, so I'm going to set aside convention and share.

There continues to be strong interest in NPR's Infinite Player experiment. We wrote in November that the purpose of the experiment is to create a one-button digital listening experience that reflects the simplicity of radio but takes advantage of digital innovations.

Knight Foundation awards $1.5M grant in support of news training

We are pleased to announce that the Knight Foundation has awarded a $1.5M grant to NPR in support of its efforts to expand the digital news capacity of NPR and NPR Member Stations.

The grant will allow NPR Digital Services to work more intensively with stations and accelerate the training programs it has been developing with them over the past year and a half.
